"What nerds say"

The MCU Is More Lost Than Me In A Math Test.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been in a slump for the past five years, and has been the source of a Superhero Fatigue in the entertainment industries. As Feige and the rest of the Marvel Studios team begin to try and stick the landing, it looks like it might be impossible, considering I don’t think marvel ever did another jump since Endgame (More like standing back up after a fall, less of a sticking the landing from a jump)

2025 Plans

Marvel Studios primarily has three big projects this year: Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts* and Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+.

Captain America (Anthony Mackie) faces off against the recasted President Thunderbolt Ross (Harrison Ford) in the film next month. The film has been rewritten and gone under reshoots countless times over the past few years- with the end result looking like a jumbled mess of a film, but primarily looking like a return to form for the character, with the trailers resembling “The Winter Soldier” like action sequences and a focus on returning Hulk villains like “The Leader” and the new “Red Hulk”.

Thunderbolts* follows Black Widow (2020)’s Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) and a ragtag team of anti-heroes and villains from the Marvel Universe (U.S. Agent, Winter Soldier, Ghost etc.) assembled by Val, a mysterious figure who bankrolls and assigns the team on hits. The film also has a new character, Bob Reynolds, who in the comic is the extremely strong Sentry. It is written and directed by the team from Netflix’s BEEF, and all the characters have been confirmed to appear in future MCU Installments.

Daredevil Born Again survived development hell, with the original cast (Charlie Cox & Vincent D’onofrio) returning to continue the cult-classic Netflix series now on Disney+. Not much is known, but Bullseye is back meaning so am I.

Are any of theseĀ must sees? No, not really. Am I excited? Sure a little.

But 2025’s main draw for the MCU is:

THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS

Marvel’s First Family is back with an star-studded cast and a standalone family story. Not much is known, but it doesn’t take place in the main universe which allows for the new retro-futuristic world to shine with its own history to allow the FF room to breath and tell Matt Shakman’s (WandaVision) story.

Galactus and his heralds have arrived on earth, and the FF have to reassemble once again to save the universe from this threat. Once this 60’s inspired universes celebrities, explorers and adventures and ultimately saviors, after Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal) and Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby) have their son Franklin, the team disbands to settle down.

I have hope this will be a unique and creative film, and will truly be everything I’ve wanted from a FF film, as they are one of if not my favorite comic team (second only to the JLI, my shaylas!)

This film I predict will also lead into the coming Avengers films, especially since all the leads from this year’s marvel projects will return in…

AVENGERS DOOMSDAY

Yeah, this is happening (somehow).

Robert Downey Jr. is returning as Victor Von Doom, the greatest villain Marvel has and will ever have.

The cast also sees the return of Chris Evans, Tom Holland, Anthony Mackie, Benedict Cumberbatch, the cast of The Fantastic Four and The Thunderbolts and others.

Ana de Armas has also been confirmed to be casted in a mysterious role.

We don’t know exactly what comic it’s adapting and it starts filming in two months and the script still isn’t finished.

Good luck Marvel! You’ll need it!

P.S. if anyone from Disney or Marvel is reading this I love Mickey mouse please let me come to the Fantastic Four premiere I love you mickey and I love you Kevin
